Humanity on the brink of destruction, Power Armour, you get the drift.

Anthem

Bioware’s Anthem is finally on stage at EA Play 2018 and before development team members began discussing more nitty-gritty details, a cinematic trailer was released. This essentially sets the tone for the future where humanity is on the brink of destruction. The world is ruins and there is a faction that isn’t exactly friendly. Cue destruction and dramatic action.

As a Freelancer, players will command Power Armour called Javelins. These suits have their own abilities and stats which can be customized to one’s liking. Exploring the world with these Javelins is essential for surviving and of course, blowing stuff up.

Anthem will be out in 2019 though whether it arrives in March (as previously stated by EA) or in February (as a recent Amazon Italy listing indicated) remains to be seen. It will be coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC and will actually be one of the key titles in the Origin Access Premier service. Read more about that here.
