Ubisoft revealed its earnings for the first half and second quarter of FY2019, providing some information on sales for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Since the game released right after the reporting period, sales figures aren’t available currently. However, the company did note that 45 percent of all sales were digital, which is a 10 percent increase from Assassin’s Creed Origins.
Other notable landmarks include Rainbow Six Siege having 40 million registered players, and For Honor having 15 million registered players. In terms of net bookings, Ubisoft’s Q2 results hit €365 million ($414 million). It’s total sales were at €367 million ($416 million), an increase of 38 percent year-over-year.
Ubisoft also revealed that it expects The Crew 2, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and The Division 2 to sell 19 million units combined within this fiscal year. Given that The Division 2 is out in March 2019 (the same month the fiscal year ends), it may be a tall order. However, given the popularity of the first game and how well Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is doing, Ubisoft may just pull it off.
