Hot on the heels of No Man’s Sky’s tenth anniversary, Pearl Abyss is releasing a new trailer celebrating the five months since Crimson Desert launched. No, there isn’t a comparison when it comes to post-launch support, but that doesn’t mean the latter hasn’t had an eventful time adding new features.

That includes over 120 new pets and mounts, more than 70 new outfits for Kliff, Damiane and Oongka (though three guesses who gets the majority), new mini-games, wyvern mounts that you can hatch and raise, and more. We’ve also seen major changes to housing, skills, farming, and more recently, trade.

Those who sought more combat-focused content could indulge in Re-blockades, pick different difficulty options, or rematch bosses. This is on top of all the new technical features, optimizations, improvements, bug fixes, and so much more. Pearl Abyss also listened in several other ways, from adding more Abyss Nexus locations for fast travel to reducing stamina consumption while gliding (especially in the Abyss).

Of course, all of this only marks the beginning, as Crimson Desert is planned to receive its first paid DLC later this year. Its content and price will be revealed sometime in the third quarter, meaning by September 30th, so stay tuned for more details. In the meantime, check out our re-review of the title on PS5, though it’s well outdated given the sheer number of additions since then.
