Dead Cells Fatal Falls DLC

The second paid DLC for roguelite action platformer Dead Cells is now available for PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch with Fatal Falls. It adds two new biomes for the mid-game, new weapons and items, new foes and a new boss. More importantly, Motion Twin has released a new animated trailer, showcasing some of the new content. Check it out below.

The new biomes are Fractured Shrines and Undying Shores. New enemies like the Myopic Crow, Compulsive Gravedigger and so on await but fortunately, players will have some new tools to dish out punishment. There’s a new flying sword that acts as a companion of sorts, the Scarecrow’s Sickles, Snake Fangs, Lightning Rods and much more.

Ten new outfits have also been added for players to unlock. There will likely be free content updates post-launch, much like with The Bad Seed. At $4.99, Fatal Falls comes recommended for hardcore players looking for new content. Stay tuned for more details on future updates especially with the Malaise update slated to release in February for consoles.
