It was near the end of last year when we got the latest game from Hideo Kojima on PS4, Death Stranding. It was one of the strangest games to hit the mainstream in quite some time, both in its story and how it played. Now, the game got a second wind with a PC version that released last week with a host of new features. It seems that it’s started out strong, and Kojima Productions wants you to know they’re thankful for the support.
Via the official developer Twitter, the team gave a big thanks to fans, as well as referencing the game’s apparent strong start on the platform, mentioning that the game has yet to leave the top of the Steam charts. It’s not been made clear how much the game actually sold, though Hideo Kojima said the game was profitable. Seems the PC version has done pretty well for itself.
Death Stranding is available now for PC, and you can see how we felt about the game through here. It is also available for the PlayStation 4.
