Development on Death Stranding is proceeding at what seems to be a rapid pace. With exactly three months left before the game’s launch, director Hideo Kojima recently spoke about how it’s still in “crunch time of development”, and how adjustments are still being made to the title. Now, it has hit an important milestone in its development process.

Taking to Twitter, Kojima confirmed that the Japanese voice over recording sessions for Death Stranding have been wrapped up. The cast for Death Stranding’s Japanese dub was announced in September of 2018, while recording sessions themselves kicked off in December. With three months left before the game’s release, that work has now officially wrapped up.

Death Stranding is due out on November 8 for the PS4. Though it is launching as a PS4 exclusive, speculation has arisen that the game will ultimately make its way over to PC as well, especially since it was recently removed from the list of PlayStation-exclusive titles on the PlayStation website.

Later this month, on August 19, Hideo Kojima will also be premiering an “exclusive new look” at the game at Gamescom Opening Night Live. Stay tuned for GamingBolt for all those updates and more.
