Destiny 2 Lightfall - Strand

Bungie has released a new Developer Insights video for Destiny 2: Lightfall, detailing the new Strand sub-classes. It allows for manipulating the threads of the universe, which translates into suspending enemies, unraveling them and throwing a Tangle that then explodes. Check it out below.

As Bungie started with the idea, it wanted the fantasy to be based on ropes and strings, while the mechanics focused on quick movement and creating objects. In combat, this manifests in various ways, whether you’re generating Threadlings to attack enemies as the Broodweaver, melee dashing through enemies as the Berserker, or throwing a ricocheting projectile as the Threadrunner.

Destiny 2: Lightfall is out on February 28th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. Head here for details on the various Aspects and Fragments of Strand. Watch the official ViDoc for Lightfall to learn more about the new destination, story, Season of Defiance, and more. The launch trailer for the expansion will premiere at Sony’s State of Play on February 23rd, so stay tuned for more gameplay soon.
