Diablo 4 has had quite a few leaks of its closed alpha recently, but thankfully, more players will be able to experience the game. Blizzard Entertainment has announced a closed beta for the endgame, with invites to go out post-October 11th. The beta will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC with cross-play and cross-progression enabled.

Set after the campaign, the beta features Helltide, a region-wide event that involves killing enemies, collecting Cinders and opening Helltide Chests. Participants can also access Nightmare Dungeons, Whispers of the Dead, Fields of Hatred (the PvP component) and Paragon Boards. The idea is for those with extensive experience with the endgame of Diablo 3 and Diablo 2: Resurrected to provide feedback.

To take part, go to the Battle.net website or launcher, click your username and go to “Account Settings” or “View Account.” Select “Privacy and Communication”, go to “Communication Preferences,” and click “Update.” Enable “News and Special Offers from Battle.net.” This must be done by October 11th.

Invites will go out after this date, but if none arrive by November 18th, then you haven’t been selected. The good news is that there will be public tests in early 2023. So stay tuned for further updates in the meantime.

Diablo 4 is slated to launch next year as well. For more details on what to expect, head here.
