Tis the month for big reveals and not all of them are happening at Gamescom. Techland has announced that it will reveal an official gameplay demo for Dying Light 2 on August 26th. The stream will go live at 8 AM CEST/11 AM PDT.
We haven’t seen too much gameplay of Dying Light 2 since its official announcement at last year’s E3. The developer has noted the extent of player choice and how it will affect the game world. Some consequences won’t even be immediately obvious to players so you might have to account for unforeseen developments.
Dying Light 2 is out in Spring 2020 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC (though it’s also being planned as a cross-gen game). It’s being published by Square Enix and will have “years” of support. Judging by Techland’s support for Dying Light, which still has DLC planned, that’s certainly a good thing. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks when the demo debuts.
