Techland’s Dying Light 2 had an appearance at Xbox’s E3 2019 presser, but it didn’t present the complex story decisions that will dictate the world’s development. Instead, we learned more about the protagonist Aiden- who’s infected by the way. He doesn’t want society to fall apart after the virus took over. Check it out below.

The trailer did feature what seems to be gameplay, as Aiden outruns the Infected, including one cool sequence where he tackles a zombie off of a roof and uses it for landing. How will the infection influence his abilities? Will Aiden have to gather materials to fight it off?

We’ll find out in Spring 2020 when Dying Light 2 releases for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. It’s being published by Square Enix, and we’ll likely see more gameplay from their upcoming presser. Stay tuned for more details from Xbox at E3 2019 – there’s about an hour or so of announcements to come.
