We’ve been waiting for Fall Guys to launch for Xbox and Switch for quite some time now. Originally announced for the platformers over a year ago, developer Mediatonic said earlier this year that development on the new versions was close to being finalized. Now, as promised, Mediatonic has made some big new announcements related to the game.

On top of confirming that Fall Guys will be going free-to-play on June 21, Mediatonic has also announced that on the same day, the game will finally launch for Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. At the same time, it will also be releasing for Epic Games Store on PC, and it will get a native launch for the PS5.

On the latter, the game will boast “faster load times and other performance upgrades”- presumably the same as the Xbox Series X/S version, though specific details haven’t yet been shared. Target resolution and frame rates for the game on all Xbox platforms have been confirmed though- read more on that through here.

Of course, Fall Guys will also support cross-platform multiplayer and cross-progression across all versions. That said, the game will not be available via Steam for new players starting June 21, even though existing players on the platform will continue being able to access it and will continue receiving updates. Read more on that through here.
