In a recent livestream, Luminous Productions showcased more Forspoken, which is out next month. Tanta Olas, the third and final ruler-turned-tyrant, was showcased, and the development team confirmed that HDR is being fixed in the final release. They also showcased Cuff Scan, which didn’t have a tutorial in the demo.
As noted by Genki_JPN, Cuff Scan lets you scan surroundings for items and enemies. Another feature unexplained in the demo was the option to set up camps in the open world. It allows for crafting items in the open world, meaning you don’t have to return to a Pilgrim’s Refuge.
The PlayStation Store pre-order bonus items – including the No Limits Cloak, Symbol Combo Necklace, and Trigger Happy Nails – were also showcased. PC and “other versions” get different item sets, though. It was stated that the demo was to showcase the gameplay and battle systems instead of the story. Not only will the story be in the full game (obviously), but there will also be more content.
Forspoken releases on January 24th, 2023, for PS5 and PC.
They show the "Cuff Scan" for which there was not a tutorial for in the demo. You can use it to scan the surrounding area for items and enemies. You can also set up camp in the game to craft items in the open world! They say sorry that it was not explained in the demo. pic.twitter.com/wRYFTwuOHz
