Forspoken

Game Informer has been providing tons of details about Luminous Productions’ Forspoken as part of its cover story for this month. You can check out the latest bit of gameplay footage here but in a new preview, we get to learn more about the Seat of Reflection. This is a subterranean dungeon-like area where Frey will battle magical foes and garner a valuable crafting item.

The Seat of Reflection is also host to a boss known as a Proto Jabberwock. It possesses numerous appendages and a single eye which seems to be its weak point. Since the rest of its body is fairly tanky, players will need to use parkour and precise spells to deal damage. Defeating the boss nets EXP and +10 to Mana and it’s confirmed that there are other Seat of Reflection dungeons to scour in Athia.

Forspoken is currently slated to release on October 11th for PS5 and PC. You can head here for more combat gameplay with Frey battling the Pitiless Arbiter, a mini-boss that answers to Tanta Prav. For more information on the different kinds of spells that can be used, head here.
