Forza Horizon isn’t typically a series that you’d associate with co-op. However, with Convoys and other means to explore the world with other players, it can be a surprisingly rewarding experience. Playground is expanding on this even further with Forza Horizon 6, which adds new LINK Skills.

The premise is simple – execute a skill, like drifting, alongside another player, and you’ll receive a reward. If it’s similar to the current Skill Chains, then perhaps LINK Skills will provide more XP, making leveling each car (and your profile) that much faster. Time will tell, but it certainly encourages Convoys to be more coordinated.

Also, as previously announced, Car Meets, and while you can meet other players at the Horizon Festival site, Japan offers two more unique areas: The world-famous Daikoku in Tokyo City and Okuibuki Parking Lot in the alpines. But wait, there’s more – you can also use the Festival Playlist’s Live Program to enter temporary Meets.

Overall, it’s a great way to meet other players, perhaps forming a Convoy and taking part in Street Races, Time Attack Circuits, and more. There are even new leaderboards for Convoys.

With Forza Horizon 6 launching on May 19th for Xbox Series X/S and PC (later this year for PS5), it’s shaping up to be one of the most enjoyable and feature-packed entries in the series.
