Genshin Impact - Yun Jin

With Genshin Impact’s update 2.4 going live, the time has come to pull for new characters like Shenhe and Yun Jin. While the former is a 5-star character and has a much lower drop rate, the latter is 4-stars, thus being more easily obtainable. A new “Collected Miscellany” trailer for Yun Jin has been released, which outlines all of her skills and passives in greater detail – check it out below.

“Opening Flourish” is her Elemental Skill and can either be pressed or held. Pressing it will unleash a polearm attack that deals Geo damage. Holding allows for charging the ability, creating a shield with damage absorption based on her max health. Once her skill is released or the shield breaks, Yun Jin will attack, dealing Geo damage (which varies based on the length of time charging).

Her Elemental Burst is “Cliffbreaker’s Banner” which deals Geo damage in an area and grants the Flying Cloud Flag Formation to party members. This essentially deals bonus damage based on Yun Jin’s defense when using normal attacks. It can also trigger multiple times when hitting several foes at once (making it good for characters with wide-sweeping abilities, like Noelle’s Elemental Burst).

Among her passives are “True to Oneself” where using Opening Flourish at the exact moment that Yun Jin is hit will unleash the level 2 version of its charged attack. “Breaking Conventions” increases the bonus damage granted by Flying Cloud Flag Formation by up to 11.5 percent of her defense if you have four different Elemental types in your party.

Genshin Impact is currently available for PS4, PS5, PC, iOS and Android. Stay tuned for more details on other character banners in the coming weeks.
