Guerrilla and Sony have said very little about Horizon Forbidden West’s upcoming expansion Burning Shores so far, but with its launch now right around the corner, they’ve now finally offered another new look at it and what it will have in store with a launch trailer.

Burning Shores will see Aloy heading to the ruins of Los Angeles, now half-submerged and lying in an area littered with active volcanos- but that will be the least of her worries. A new Machine threat is emerging, and Aloy will find herself working alongside the Quen tribe and a new companion in Reyka to stop it.

The trailer offers plenty of glimpses at the aforementioned Reyka as she fights and travels alongside Aloy, along with various locations from the new map, traversal with the Waterwing, and more, before ending with what’s certainly a tease for an epic fight against a colossal Metal Devil. Check it out below.

Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores launches on April 19 for PS5.
