Guerrilla Games has faced its fair share of hurdles with Horizon Forbidden West with the game being delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, ahead of its release next month, it seems that an early build of the PS4 version has leaked to the public. Images have begun appearing on sites like Twitter and VGC has been told that the build is indeed legit.
Not only that but aside from some missing art assets, it contains all of the core content that will be in the finished game. This means that potential spoilers could leak over the coming weeks so be warned. As such, some images on Twitter have already been removed due to “a report from the copyright holder” so expect a similar approach to other sensitive media till release.
As it stands, the images below from nanotunings3 appear to be spoiler-free but it wouldn’t be surprising if they were removed as well. Horizon Forbidden West is currently slated to release on February 18th for PS4 and PS5. With the rumored State of Play in February, it could receive a new extended gameplay walkthrough as per insider Tom Henderson. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
