Horizon Forbidden West

Even in a year as packed with major releases as it looks like 2022 is going to be, Horizon Forbidden West stands out as one of the most highly anticipated upcoming games. Fans of 2017’s Horizon Zero Dawn are excited to see how its upcoming sequel will build on its excellent foundations- and thankfully, it seems like the game is well on track to deliver that on time.

Guerrilla Games recently took to Twitter to confirm that Horizon Forbidden West has gone gold ahead of its looming launch. Development on the game has wrapped up, and it’s now ready to be sent out to be printed onto discs- but of course, Guerrilla is going to continue to work on ironing out technical bugs and glitches, some of which should arrive in the form of day one patches.

Horizon Forbidden West will launch for PS5 and PS4 on February 18. In the lead-up to its launch, Guerrilla and Sony have been releasing new trailers, screenshots, gameplay details, and more, so there’s plenty to catch up on as we count the days down to the game’s launch.
