Crystal Dynamics said a little over a month ago that it wasn’t yet ready to share full details on what the roadmap for Marvel’s Avengers’ future content is going to look like, but even so, the developer still has some updates in the work.
We’ve been hearing about the upcoming patch 2.3 for a while, and recently learned about some of the bigger changes it’s making, from bringing Nick Fury back as an NPC to improving the onboarding experience for new players to overhauling the War Table and more. Now, however, it seems the patch won’t arrive as expected.
Crystal Dynamics recently took to Twitter to confirm that patch 2.3 has been delayed. The developer says it’s “taking to extra time” to ensure that the game’s “new tuning and mission on-boarding are ready to go”, and that as such, has chosen to delay the patch. There’s no word yet on when it’s now expected to launch. “We’ll update you with the new date as soon as we have it,” Crystal Dynamics says.
Marvel’s Avengers is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia. Reports have suggested that the game will be adding She-Hulk as a DLC character in the future- read more on that through here.
