Musician mentions Metal Gear Solid 5

Posted By | On 24th, Feb. 2012

Rumours and reports have been at an all time high for Metal Gear Solid 5, a game which hasn’t even been announce yet. Kojima has already stated that he will work on a fifth main instalment in the series and has dropped several other hints, along with reports coming in that he’s hiring people to work on a new MGS title. And now, a guitarist has mentioned MGS5 as one of the projects he’s working on on his Facebook profile page.

20-year-old guitarist Umar Arar said on his Facebook page: “Got an awesome career opportunity to work on the soundtrack for Metal Gear Solid 5. One problem. Gotta work out in California and Japan.”

I wouldn’t trust this report completely though, since googline “Umar Arar” doesn’t bring in a lot of result He’s a “Sales Operative at Primark & Freelance Guitarist”, according to the info on his page. So this isn’t exactly the most reliable source. However, this definitely strengthens the rumours of a new MGS game.

We’ll keep you updated as more info comes our way.
