Nintendo will be broadcasting their first Pokemon Direct of the year shortly, and you can watch it live right here, through the video embedded below. But what exactly are we expecting to see in the roughly 20 minute-long presentation?
It’s been confirmed that new details on post-launch content for Pokemon Sword and Shield will be shared, but besides that, nothing else has bee officially confirmed. It’s possible, though, that we get to see an announcement for a new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game for the Switch. Meanwhile, Pokemon Home and Pokemon Sleep, both of which were announced last year, might also show up.
Tencent’s TiMi Studio (the developers of Call of Duty: Mobile) is also working on a new unannounced Pokemon game, while Nintendo also announced a Detective Pikachu game for the Switch last year- both of them might possibly be featured in the presentation. Something we can safely rule out, however, is a new Pokemon Let’s Go title, which is something Game Freak have confirmed they’re not working on right now.
Catch all the announcement below at 6:30 AM Pacific Time.
