Say what you will about the combat, loot and bugs but Marvel’s Avengers is a pretty high-quality audio experience. Nixxes studio head Jurjen Katsman notes that 3D audio on the PS5 will immerse players further in the action, like actually hearing where each Avenger is fighting, whether it’s Thor swinging his hammer around in the distance or Iron Man destroying foes in the sky. Not only does this make the battles feel more realistic – or as realistic as they can feel with all the bullet sponge foes – but it also provides some much needed information during the chaos. Why isn’t an Avenger helping you capture a point, especially in those annoying missions with three points? Now you can now exactly where they are thanks to 3D audio.
