This is not to say that Resident Evil 3 remake isn’t a gory game but compared to Resident Evil 2 remake, there have been some notable compromises. There’s less blood splatter and no rag doll physics. You can’t blow a zombie in half and body parts even disappear overtime. Body injuries are also noticeably less pronounced. While hardware limitations may be the reason, such a downgrade from Resident Evil 2 remake is odd overall.
