Perhaps most disheartening among the cut content is that the Clock Tower is gone. This is a shame because the level was a harrowing experience in the original with giant creepy spiders all over the place. It had several interesting puzzles and encounters with the Nemesis – including a boss fight with its second form – along with some neat lore. That’s all gone in the remake and the Clock Tower serves as nothing more than background scenery for a battle with Nemesis.
