Sony may have delayed the likes of Gran Turismo 7 but its other exclusives, like Housemarque’s Returnal, are looking very good. A new trailer has released, following Selene as she traverses the alien planet of Atropos. Throughout her journeys through each biomes, she comes to a horrifying discovery. Check it out below.

There are six biomes teased in the trailer – Overgrown Ruins, Derelict Citadel and Crimson Wastes with three being unknown. Each biome has its own unique hook but can also shift into something completely different. The Overgrown Ruins, for example, can turn from a forest into a swamp.

The Crimson Wastes, a sprawling desert with ruins, can become a snow-covered landscape with completely different structures. What causes these environments to shift, as well as how Selene keeps coming back to life on the planet after death, forms the core mystery of Returnal. It’s out on April 30th for PS5 so we won’t have to wait long to solve it.
