Housemarque detailed the patch notes for Returnal’s 1.4.1 update last week and it’s now being rolled out to all players. The update allows for Platinum Trophies like “Atropian Survival”, “Sins of the Mother” and “Welcome Home” to be unlocked by replaying the ending for Act 3.

Some issues with Daily Challenges have also been fixed including a rare issue that prevented challenge runs in the Fractured Runs from being completed. Another issue which caused incorrect loot to spawn during a challenge run has also been fixed. Other issues like save game corruption in “rare circumstances” and intermittent visual issues when scanning new items should also be resolved.

Returnal is currently available for PlayStation 5 – you can check out our review here for more details. Housemarque was recently acquired by Sony and is now part of PlayStation Studios. As for the studio’s next title, co-founder and managing director Ilari Kuittinen said that Returnal should provide a “hint” to what’s coming next.
