Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, known for developing the Like a Dragon series, has announced its next RGG Summit. It takes place on June 15th at 8 PM PT/11 PM ET. Details on the livestream are coming later.
Last year’s RGG Summit saw the developer unveil several upcoming projects, including Like a Dragon: Ishin!, the remake of 2014’s Ryu ga Gotoku Ishin!, which was released earlier this year. It also announced Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. The side story focuses on Kazuma Kiryu after the events of Yakuza 6: The Song of Life leading up to Yakuza: Like a Dragon.
It also sets up his role in Like a Dragon 8, the next mainline title in the series (which features the return of Ichiban Kasuga). Perhaps we’ll get a release date for it and Like a Dragon Gaiden to go with some new gameplay. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for more details.
