Star Ocean The Divine Force

After promising some new information on Star Ocean: The Divine Force in late June, developer tri-Ace has announced a “Star Ocean Program Special Edition” for June 29th at 4 AM PST. It will be broadcast live on YouTube.

As the follow-up to Square Enix’s long-running sci-fi RPG series, Star Ocean: The Divine Force features two protagonists, each with their own stories and accompanying characters. They also have unique abilities and fighting styles. In terms of exploration, there are larger environments to explore and players can also fly. Like previous entries, combat is real-time.

The action RPG was originally slated to receive an update in Spring but the development team faced a delay. Perhaps new gameplay will be showcased along with a release window (if not the actual release date). Star Ocean: The Divine Force is planned to release this year for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. Stay tuned for more details on Wednesday and check out the previous trailer here.
