It’s going to be a long, agonizing wait for Bethesda Game Studios’ Starfield since it’s due in Autumn next year (assuming no delays). Nevertheless, the slow drip-feed of new information is interesting. Recently, the game’s official Twitter teased that players would discover many “unique environments, some lush and abundant with life.”
It attached concept art of a jungle-like setting with unique flora. Of course, there could be a variety of dangers lurking within, whether it’s hostile animals, a dangerous climate or something else entirely. Time will tell but it makes a nice addition to the current roster which includes the spaceport New Atlantis, the walled city of Akila, the fish-platform-repurposed-into-a-drug-den Neon and much more.
Starfield is currently slated to release on November 11th 2022 for Xbox Series X/S and PC. Its next showing is planned for Summer 2022, most likely around E3 time, so we’ll likely get our first real extensive gameplay showcase there. Stay tuned for more details and teases in the meantime.
