Embark Studios' free-to-play competitive shooter delivers a high-octane experience with stellar gunplay, map design and all-out destruction.
Competitive multiplayer shooter THE FINALS has been sneakily released with a new trailer during The Game Awards 2023.
It looks like the free-to-play shooter's website was briefly updated ahead of time to indicate that the game is now playable.
The free-to-play shooter's beta, which was available on PC and current-gen consoles, ended on November 5.
The open beta is available now for PC, Xbox Series X/S and PS5 until November 5th and supports cross-platform multiplayer.
Along with improvements over the previous test, it includes a new Arena, Bank-It mode and 16 exclusive Battle Pass rewards.
Players will venture into the post-apocalyptic ruins to scavenge for supplies, battling ARC machines and potentially other Raiders.
The destruction in THE FINALS isn’t just a gimmick as it supplements the gameplay in various unique ways.
Set in a virtual tournament, THE FINALS features an array of weapons and skills along with extensive environmental destruction.
Described as an "ambitious" title, the shooter needs extra time to "expand the experience and allow it to reach its fullest potential."
Join the human resistance as it battles against the mechanized threat of the ARC on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC and GeForce Now.
