Square Enix and Acquire's acclaimed H2-2D RPG series has crossed another major sales milestones, with both titles' collective sales hitting 5 million units.
The demo covers the opening hours of Mistwalker's RPG, including the battle system, with progress transferring to the full game.
Playing at 2160p/60 FPS at High quality settings requires a GeForce RTX 4080, 16 GB RAM, and a Ryzen 7 5700X or Core i7-10700.
It also features improved lighting, texture, and environmental detail. You can also use a keyboard and mouse alongside key remapping.
Square Enix's acclaimed open world action RPG launched for PlayStation 5 in February, and will soon also be headed to PC.
The turn-based RPG launched worldwide for PS4 and PC in 2018, before coming to the Nintendo Switch and Xbox in the years afterwards.
The acclaimed remake has got off to a solid start since its launched for PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC in November.
The game itself will remain alive, and previous season passes will be made available again, but Square Enix won't be releasing any new content updates.
Mistwalker and Square Enix's retro-style turn-based RPG will launch for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC on December 5.
"We are working on this and will update when the game is able to be purchased again," Square Enix says.

Astro Bot, Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, and Silent Hill 2's remake also saw week-on-week increases in sales in the region.
The retro RPG remake sold an additional 70,000 units on Nintendo Switch, and another 20,000 on PlayStation 5, as per newly released Japanese charts.
"Whatever it is, I'm incredibly excited to work on that and see what we can do with that knowledge we've built up," says Naoki Hamaguchi.

"What the fans really want to see the most is not necessarily DLC. They want to see the third part of the series as quickly as possible."
