Since the launch of the original Assassin's Creed in 2007, the franchise has collectively sold over 200 million units worldwide.
Ubisoft also confirms that the pre-ordering the upcoming action-adventure stealth title unlock bonus quest "The Forty Thieves".
Ubisoft's Marc-Alexis Côté confirms that like most previous Assassin's Creed titles, the upcoming Codename RED will also be well-supported following launch.
Ubisoft says the game will represent a technical leap for the series, also bringing improvements in animations, visuals, and more.
Ubisoft says the game will be "a more intimate, more focused experience" with "more stealth, more parkour, more close-quarters combat."
Vice president executive producer of Assassin's Creed Marc-Alexis Côté says the upcoming action-adventure title will be roughly as long as the older Assassin's Creed titles.
Ubisoft also confirms that Codename HEXE is "a bit further out" than the upcoming Codename RED, though the two will eventually "live concurrently."
"It is still the same games that we were building, but bridged together in the Infinity hub," says project leader Marc-Alexis Côté.

Ubisoft also confirmed that Assassin's Creed Infinity is a hub that will connect all of the different experiences, including Red and Hexe.
Ubisoft has announced the first open-world Assassin's Creed game for mobile. Taking place in Ancient China, the game is currently titled Assassin's Creed Code Name Jade.
