While PS5 and Xbox Series X/S will have large-scale maps for up to 128 players, the game's PS4 and Xbox One versions will have smaller variants of maps for a maximum of 64.
Taking a page out of Ubisoft's book, DICE says Battlefield 2042 – set in a world brought to the brink by climate change – has no social commentary.
