SNK has confirmed that The King of Fighters 15 will be releasing on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC (on both Steam and the Epic Games Store). Though development on the fighting game was confirmed in August 2019 with multiple characters revealed ever since, its platforms have remained a mystery till now. It’s still seemingly on track for its Q1 2022 release though.
The King of Fighters 15 is the newest mainline title in the series and features numerous returning characters. Series favorites like Iori, Kyo, Terry Bogard, Mai Shiranui and much more have been revealed along with Ralf Jones, Clark Still and Leona. Shun’ei, who debuted in The King of Fighters 14, will be the protagonist this time.
Though SNK hasn’t broken down all of the changes to the fighting system, it has confirmed the return of teams along with gorgeous new visuals thanks to Unreal Engine 4. Expect more details and information in the coming months.
