The Last of Us Part 2 is almost here. Scheduled to release on June 19th for PS4, the eagerly awaited action adventure title has received a gameplay deep dive, an official podcast and a CGI commercial. Now there’s the launch trailer which sees Ellie proclaiming her desire for vengeance once more.

Taking place several years after the first game, The Last of Us Part 2 focuses on Ellie as she settles into a thriving community in Jackson. After a major event changes her life, Ellie embarks on a quest for revenge, even if it means dealing with the Washington Liberation Front in Seattle and the cult-like Seraphites.

A lot has changed since the first game, whether it’s the larger environments or the more nuanced combat mechanics. Overall, the game is reported to be 25 to 30 hours in length. Reviews will be going live on June 12th so stay tuned for more impressions and gameplay en route to launch.
