the last of us part 2

A lot of us are eager for more information and footage from the upcoming The Last of Us Part 2. The follow-up to the acclaimed action game allegedly suffered an internal delay into next year. That said, it was reported recently that the game would be shown this October at the Madrid Games Week– but unfortunately, it seems that won’t be the case.

The event runs from October 3rd to the 6th, and a Spanish PlayStation blog listed The Last of Us Part 2 as being at the show. Sony, however, has confirmed to VGC that that won’t be the case, and that the listing was a mistake. The game will not be shown in any way to the public.

While it is disappointing, of course, there is a still going to be a big media blowout on the game later this month (probably). So hopefully, we won’t be starved for content, even with the game no showing in Madrid. We might even get a release date. We’ll keep you updated.
