Destruction AllStars
From the moment it was announced, Destruction AllStars looked like it could fit the vehicular combat genre well, providing its own interesting tweaks on the formula. Things soured somewhat when it was announced to cost $70, which Lucid Games eventually backed down from, offering the game for free on PlayStation Plus for two months and then for $20 afterwards. Despite some interesting mechanics, it just didn’t quite click for some, whether it was in the balance of different Superstars and their vehicles, or the lack of content. Having to purchase single-player Championship Series with premium currency (which couldn’t be earned in-game at launch) didn’t help either. Though it’s improved overtime, Destruction AllStars is definitely on the weaker side when it comes to PS5 exclusives.
