Obsidian Entertainment could be prepping something new for The Outer Worlds. The official Twitter announced that the Halcyon Holdings Board of Directors aka The Board has “acquire a portion” of the game’s website. Upon visiting the site, it asks you to “Stay tuned for another special message from Spacer’s Choice.”

With Microsoft’s first-party title showcase for Xbox Series X taking place this week, this could be an announcement for new content. Obsidian had previously confirmed that there would be DLC this year. Given that it cut an entire planet during development, it’s possible that this could be added back in.

Of course, The Outer Worlds isn’t the only title worth checking out at the showcase. Age of Empires 3: Definitive Edition and Battletoads recently received age ratings in Australia, which points towards possible reveals this week. Rumors have also circulated about Fable 4 finally being announced with an in-engine trailer.

The Xbox showcase takes place on July 23rd at 9 AM PST. Stay tuned for more details.
