New trailer showcases the potential to become a hero, villain, or a psychopath.
Obsidian Entertainment’s The Outer Worlds kick-started Microsoft’s Xbox E3 2019 presser, showcasing a universe that’s been overwhelmed by corporations and brands. It also provided a release date as well – October 25th. Not only that, but it’s releasing for Xbox Game Pass at launch.
In the new trailer, you’re framed as a stranger who appears and upsets the order, being a villain, a hero, or a crazed psychopath in the process. It’s all about choices, and some of them will have major consequences, but you can play however you choose. Fans of Fallout: New Vegas will feel at home here.
The Outer Worlds will be releasing for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The PC version is a timed exclusive for the Epic Games Store, though it remains to be seen if it will come to Xbox Game Pass on PC around launch as well.
