The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is coming to Xbox Series X/S and PS5 on December 14th after some delays. What can players expect, though? Find out tomorrow, as CD Projekt will provide more details in a Twitch stream at 9 AM PST.

Thus far, ray tracing support and “dozens” of improvements to the visuals, performance and technical aspects have been confirmed. The PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions will also feature faster loading times. Several mods are also being “integrated” into the game, and new weapons and armor for Geralt, along with alternative looks for certain characters, are included with the previously announced Netflix show DLC.

Interestingly, the Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PS4 versions will still be getting the Netflix content, along with a patch that provides “numerous additions and improvements.” It’s unknown whether this will launch alongside the next-gen update, so stay tuned for more details tomorrow.

A digital version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition can also be purchased on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, with a physical edition coming later. PS4 and Xbox One owners can upgrade to the current-gen versions for free.
