Crackdown 3 and Cloud-Powered Destruction

Arguably the biggest story coming out of Gamescom 2015 was the work that Reagent and Cloudgine are performing with Crackdown 3. The power of Microsoft’s Azure cloud servers is being employed for real-time destruction on a scale unlike any seen in gaming thus far. There have been various other nagging concerns since the official reveal, such as the multiplayer releasing in summer 2016 as opposed to the full game and all-out destruction restricted to online play, but thus far, we’re more positively curious than anything else.
