6. Halo 5: Guardians

It’s been a long time since we’ve felt appropriately hyped for the story in a Halo game. Granted, we were already curious about the state of Master Chief, the Didact and Cortana after Halo 4 but Halo 5: Guardians isn’t simply following that. Chief’s reputation and status with Blue Team following an incident, the manhunt conducted by Agent Locke and his team, and the duality of both accounts already has us intrigued for what’s to come next…which will hopefully be the next definitive Halo experience.
