14. Resident Evil 2 Remake

The remake that changed the industry’s outlook on the formula. The remake reminded us of Capcom’s survival horror credentials, even if it already proved that with Resident Evil 7: biohazard. Perhaps most important of all, the remake honored the original and made meaningful changes that fans loved. There isn’t much more to say about 2019’s Resident Evil 2, except that if you haven’t played it, you’re missing out.
