E3 2009 – Hideo Kojima At Microsoft’s Conference

So PlayStation fans had lost Final Fantasy, Resident Evil and Grand Theft Auto as exclusives for the PS3. Surely Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima would remain loyal, right? Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance came to Xbox but surely Kojima wouldn’t appear on stage next to the enemy, right? Unfortunately, Kojima did just that but to announce Metal Gear Solid: Rising for PS3 and Xbox 360. While this got some attention back then, it’s hilarious how the game only came out thanks to Platinum Games’ involvement (Kojima Productions oversaw the plot and Raiden’s design though).
