E3 2010 – Gabe Newell Announces Portal 2 For PS3
One of the stranger stories throughout the gaming industry was Valve’s reluctance to bring its games to PS3. For some reason, Valve boss Gabe Newell really, really didn’t like the PS3. In 2010, when Newell announced that Valve wouldn’t be at E3 2010, it was all a ruse. He finally appeared in Sony’s E3 presser to announce Portal 2 and Steam integration on the PS3. We all kind of saw it coming but it was pretty surprising all the same.
