E3 2008 – Final Fantasy 13 Heading to Xbox 360
Sony fans aren’t exactly strangers to self-ownage though. After years and years of the Final Fantasy franchise being exclusive to PlayStation, through two whole eras of goodness with the PS1 and PS2, the shocker came at E3 2008. Final Fantasy 13, the next big sequel, would also be releasing on Xbox 360, thus ending the brand’s exclusivity on PlayStation. Fans were outraged (quite literally as the announcement incited booing) and blamed the Xbox 360 for the PS3 version being “downgraded”.
