Nvidia and AMD have both released updated drivers for the release of Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs. These are the Nvidia GeForce 337.88 WHQL and AMD Catalyst 14.6 drivers respectively.
The Nvidia GeForce 337.88 WHQL boasts a 75 percent increase in frame rates and according to the GPU manufacturer, “at minimum, a GeForce GTX 770 is required for max setting gameplay, sans hardware anti-aliasing”. You’ll be able to achieve a very similar experience with the GTX 660/670/680/760 Ti GPUs though. The new drivers also deliver updated SLI profiles for a number of games. Meanwhile, the AMD Catalyst 14.6 driver will include Eyefinity 3.0 for multi-screen users with different display of varying resolutions. It will provide a boost for Watch Dogs though and if you utilize a new CrossFire profile, you can expect a performance scaling of up to 99 percent. The drivers can be found here, if you haven’t found them already.
