Xbox and Bethesda Developer_Direct Will be Over 40 Minutes Long

"Our goal has been to be as transparent as possible on what dev teams/games to expect to see in the show," says Xbox's Aaron Greenberg.

Recent weeks have seen plenty of Xbox fans expressing concern over the lack of updates from Microsoft on upcoming first party titles, but the company is looking to remedy that with the Xbox and Bethesda Developer_Direct showcase later this month. A number of games have been confirmed to be part of the show’s lineup, and Microsoft is promising significant gameplay showings for each- but how long can we expect the entire show to be?

As per Aaron Greenberg – VP of Xbox Games Marketing – the Developer_Direct showcase will be roughly 43 minutes long. The exec revealed the same in a Twitter post, adding that Microsoft’s overriding aim is “to be as transparent as possible on what dev teams/games to expect to see in the show.”

As per Microsoft, viewers can expect updates and showings for Redfall, Minecraft: Legends, Forza Motorsport, and The Elder Scrolls Online, the former three of which are all expected to launch within the coming months. It looks like specific release dates for the three games will also be unveiled.

Starfield won’t be part of the showcase’s lineup, but Microsoft is working on standalone showcase dedicated entirely to Bethesda’s RPG.
