13. Driveclub (2014)
Make no mistake – Driveclub had its fair share of problems at launch (which Evolution Studios would make up for with almost two years of post-launch content). And sure, even in the graphics department it ran at “only” 30 frames per second. But the sheer attention to detail of the cars, each consisting of about 260,000 polygons, and the presentation with its mix of lighting, real-time reflections, and atmospherics was simply incredible to behold. It also ran at 1080p resolution which looked all the more sumptuous on PS4.
