Max – Max Payne
Some may point to Max Payne 3 where our hero shaves his head and loiters around, shooting up the bad guys. But who could forget the first game? His personality was edgy pulp but for good reason – Max’s career was going well and he had a beautiful family. Suddenly and without warning, junkies killed his wife and baby. From there, Max goes to the DEA as an undercover cop and has to deal with being framed for murder. His troubles never really end there, sadly.
